DENVER — Women living on the streets will soon have a new place to go in Northeast Denver.
Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Denver announced that is building a new shelter on Smith Road for women. It is set to open in 2017.
The facility will provide 150 beds each night and will have a number of programs, including a 30-day detox program and an emergency shelter in case of overflow on cold nights.
