DENVER - How do you get a broken-down chopper off the roof of a hospital? Bring in a crane — but one that works!
Children’s Hospital in Aurora says the Airlink medical helicopter stopped working Sunday night after dropping off a patient, prompting crews to bring in a crane on Monday. The crane unfortunately needed another part to be able to lift the chopper.
On Tuesday around Noon, officials said the helicopter had been successfully and safely removed from the roof.
