BOULDER, Colo. — An elderly woman checking her mail in Boulder Tuesday was injured after a man robbed her, making off with her purse.

On Thursday, police released a sketch of the man they’re still looking for.

The robbery occurred in the 3100 block of 11th Street around 6:20 p.m.

The victim was robbed while standing on her front porch looking at mail. Police say the suspect came up to the victim from behind and said, “gimme your purse.”

After a struggle, the man fled on foot with the victim’s purse and cell phone, neither of which has been recovered. The victim was injured and received medical treatment.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in early his 20’s, between 5-feet, 5-inches and 5-feet, 8-inches-tall with a regular build and small mustache.

Anyone with information regarding the possible identity of the suspect is asked to call Detective Kurt Foster at 303-441-4329.
