CHERRY HILLS VILLAGE, Colo. – A woman walking her dog around noon Tuesday in Cherry Hills Village found a body under a tarp about 50 feet away from the road.
The body was found near the intersection of South Clarkson Street and East Layton Avenue.
Cherry Hills Village police say they are not ready to call the investigation a homicide case and that there were no visible signs of trauma to the person’s body.
Police say they have called in the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office to aid in the investigation.
Should the case become a homicide investigation, it would be the first in Cherry Hills Village since 1981, authorities told Denver7.
