WESTMINSTER, Colo. — Investigators with the Westminster Police Department are working to determine the circumstances around a person's death after a body was found in a field Thursday evening.
On Thursday around 6:40 p.m., the Westminster Police Department received a call from a driver who reported seeing a body in a field along the 3200 block of 84th Avenue.
When officers arrived, they found a deceased male in the field. They did not say if the person was a child or adult.
The person did not have any identification in his possession. The cause and manner of his death are under investigation.
Detectives worked in the area Thursday and Friday.
As of 10 a.m. Friday, 84th Avenue is closed between Irving Street and Lowell Boulevard, including the stretch of Shaw Boulevard between Irving and Lowell.
