Body found in Clear Creek County identified as Aurora woman

CLEAR CREEK COUNTY, Colo. – The body of a young woman found in Clear Creek County in early April has been identified after dozens of tips poured into the Colorado Bureau of Investigation.

State investigators announced that the body found off Highway 103 in Clear Creek County is that of Queen Ashby, 20, of Aurora. 

The cause and manner of her death were not released, but authorities are investigating the incident as a homicide. No suspect information was given.

Investigators had previously released a computer-generated image of Ashby in hopes of identifying her. She was positively identified Tuesday and notification was made to her family.
