DENVER – A death investigation is underway after a body was found at a recycling processing facility in Adams County Thursday morning.
The body was found at Alpine Waste and Recycling, 645 W. 53rd Pl., according to the Adams County Sheriff’s Office. A spokesperson for Alpine said the body was discovered among recycled materials that were delivered to the plant.
The recycling line has been shut down while officials investigate.
Investigators are trying to determine where the body came from, how it got there and the manner of death.
