Missing 16-year-old out of Aurora found safe Monday morning

UPDATE (8:46 a.m.) — Malarie Stafford-Mustacchio, 16, who went missing Sunday evening, was found safe Monday morning.


ARAPAHOE COUNTY, Colo. — The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a missing 16-year-old.

Malarie Stafford-Mustacchio has brown hair that is dyed red, blue eyes and stands at about 5 feet, 7 inches. Authorities believe she is wearing the same outfit in the above photo: A striped T-shirt dress.

The sheriff’s office said she was last seen around E. Quincy Avenue and S. Flanders Street around 10 p.m. Sunday. She was with Anthony Acuna-Lopez, 18. He is 5 feet, 4 inches tall with black hair and brown eyes.

Anybody who sees them or has information on Stafford-Mustacchio's whereabouts is encouraged to call 911.
