FRISCO, Colo. — Authorities are investigating an officer-involved shooting that occurred in the parking lot of a Whole Foods in the Summit County town of Frisco Monday evening.
Police responded to the store, located at 261 Lusher Court, around 7:30 p.m. on a report of a person acting erratically in the Whole Foods market, according to a release from the Frisco Police Department.
When police arrived, officers made contact with the subject in the store's parking lot. According to the police statement, at some point during the contact, a Frisco officer shot at the person, whose name, age and gender have not been released. No officers were injured.
It's unknown if the person was struck. The extent of the person's injuries, if any, is unclear. However, Vanessa Agee, a spokeswoman for the town’s police department, confirmed to Denver7 that the person was taken into custody following the incident.

Agee declined to provide additional information. She said the Colorado Bureau of Investigation is looking into the incident and is the lead agency in the investigation.
