Authorities in Logan County seek hit-and-run driver; bicyclist left seriously injured

LOGAN COUNTY, Colo. — Authorities in Logan County are searching for a driver suspected of hitting a bicyclist and fleeing the scene on Friday afternoon.

Around 4 p.m. on Friday, the driver struck a bicyclist on County Road 43.5 just north of County Road 34, according to the Colorado State Patrol. CSP said the driver did not stop after the crash.

CSP, Logan County Sheriff's Office deputies and the Sterling Fire Department responded to the incident.

The bicyclist was seriously injured, according to the sheriff's office.

CSP said it suspects the driver was in a white, flatbed pickup.
