Authorities ID man hit, killed by SUV in Fort Collins

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) — Authorities have released the name of a man who was hit and killed by an SUV as he walked across a frontage road along Interstate 25 in northern Colorado.

The Coloradoan reports 31-year-old Sean Stephens, of Fort Collins, was hit just south of Wellington on Thursday evening. He died at the scene.

Colorado State Patrol investigators do not believe the driver, who remained at the crash site, was speeding or was under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
