AURORA, Colo. — The Aurora Police Department is working to identify a young boy found wandering a neighborhood by himself. Police haven't been able to find his family as of 11 a.m.
Around 8:20 a.m., officers were called to E. Evans Avenue and S. Fairplay Street after receiving a report about a found child. When they arrived, they found a young boy who appeared to be 2 or 3 years old. He had been wandering the neighborhood alone, police said.
Police said he has not been able to tell officers who he is or where he lives.
Officers' efforts to try to find his family have been unsuccessful.
