DENVER – Law enforcement in Florida arrested a man last week suspected of shooting and killing a man at an Aurora apartment complex back in March.
Aurora police said Thursday that Octavius Demond Styles, 25, was arrested by police officers in Hollywood, Florida. Jail records indicate he was arrested last Thursday, Dec. 10, on the homicide warrant out of Colorado.
Styles is accused of shooting and killing a man at the Windsor Court Apartments on E. 16th Ave. In northwest Aurora on March 21. The FBI had previously warned he could be in Georgia while he was on the run from Colorado.
Styles remains in custody of the Broward County Sheriff’s Office pending his extradition to Colorado to face charges in the 17th Judicial District.
