Aurora girl, 12, who was missing since Thursday found safe by police

UPDATE on Saturday, March 23 at 9:51 a.m.: Officials with the Aurora Police Department say 12-year-old Enita has been found and returned home after being missing for two days. Our previous story is below.

AURORA, Colo. — Police are searching for a 12-year-old girl who is missing out of Aurora.

Police identified her as Enita. Her last name was not provided. She was last seen by her family around E. 6th Avenue and Del Mar Circle Thursday morning when she was dropped off at school.

She attended school for part of the day and would normally take the bus back home, but never showed up.

Police said late Friday morning that Enita ran away voluntarily along with three other juveniles. They were last seen Friday morning in a stolen black 2013 Toyota Sienna van with Colorado plates VQJ079. Aurora police said they tried to stop the van but it drove off.

She is described as being 5 feet, 4 inches tall, about 95 pounds, with black hair and dark brown eyes. Police said she is a Pacific Islander. She was last seen in a red hoodie, blue jeans and white shoes.
