Aurora firefighters helped a family and rescued their dog and her four puppies from a house fire Thursday.
The fire broke out at 1900 Chester Street.
One adult and two children were home at the time and were transported to the hospital for observation.
A photo tweeted by the Aurora Fire Department showed the damage inside the home.
Fortunately, the family, the dog and the puppies are all expected to be just fine.
The cause and origin of the fire are still under investigation.
