AURORA, Colo. — A box of abandoned puppies got a new leash on life.
The puppies were found abandoned along Peoria Street Tuesday morning.
Aurora Fire crews were notified of the location of the pups and immediately provided them care at the station, the department tweeted.
The puppies were then transported to VCA Alameda East Veterinary Hospital where the pups are receiving care, the tweet read.
