Smash and grab burglars tried to get away with goods at a gun store in Wheat Ride Thursday.
They didn’t succeed.
Surveillance video shows they tried to back a Jeep into the store around 7 a.m. but couldn’t get past the cage.
The owner’s gone through this before, which is why he installed the cage at Hammer Down Firearms on Wadsworth Boulevard.
The attempted burglars then fled in the Jeep.
