DENVER – Amazon will hire hundreds of seasonal workers for its new sortation center in Aurora for the upcoming holidays.
The hiring spree is part of Amazon’s plan to fill around 120,000 season positions nationwide this season at various sites across the country.
Most of the jobs in Colorado will involve sorting packages.
Amazon says 14,000 of its seasonal workers ended up with full-time jobs after last year’s holiday season, and the company says it expects more full-time positions to come from this year’s seasonal pool.
