1. Amazon announces new in-car delivery service
Amazon Prime customers with certain connected cars can now have their purchases delivered straight to your car, wherever it is parked. The service is available in Denver starting today.
2. Colorado school districts continue to cancel classes
School districts across Colorado, including Denver, are canceling classes Friday as thousands of teachers plan to walk out to protest low pay and underfunding. See an up-to-date list of districts here.
3. First Alert Action Day Tuesday
We have issued a First Alert Action Day for Tuesday because of this storm. The snow will be light in Denver, but we could see a couple of inches in the foothills and mountains. Be prepared for a wet Tuesday morning commute, and you'll need a jacket as cooler air moves in.
4. George H.W. Bush hospitalized
President George H.W. Bush, 93, was hospitalized Sunday morning, less than one day after his wife's Barbara memorial service, a Bush family spokesperson said on Monday.
5. State dinner for Macron tonight
President Donald Trump and French President Emmanuel Macron will have a sit-down meeting today, followed by a joint news conference and then a lavish state dinner at the White House. About 150 guests are expected.
