1. Do you scoop the poop?
Careless dog owners are giving Colorado parks and their volunteers a headache, as they struggle to find a way to eliminate how much pet waste is left behind on the trails, either on the ground or in plastic bags. 2. Spring storms increase avalanche danger
Winter is not ready to release its grasp on Colorado just yet. Monday's snow, which could continue in the mountains today, increased the risk for avalanches. In that same vein, snowpack is at its best last-season levels since 2011! Click here to learn more.

3. Mother Nature turns cold shoulder to Colorado

4. Amazon will open a new office downtown, add tech jobs
Amazon will expand its Denver Tech Hub into LoDo, creating 400 new high-tech jobs in the process, the company announced Tuesday. Those jobs will include fields like software and hardware engineering, cloud computing and advertising. Here's more on this new move.

5. City to launch food waste initiative Wednesday
Denver will launch Food Waste Pilot Program tomorrow in an effort to to help Denver restaurants prevent wasted food at the source, donate pre-consumer leftovers and recycle food waste via composting. Nine locla restuarants are participating in the pilot program.
