PUEBLO, Colo. -- The Colorado Bureau of Investigation issued an alert for a father who reportedly did not return a week-old infant to his mother.

Earnest Johnson, 38, took Cassius Head to a doctor on August 23 and disappeared, according to the endangered missing advisory issued by the CBI late Saturday.

No one has been able to make contact with Johnson since the doctor's visit.

He may be traveling with his girlfriend, Jolene Lacabone, 35, in her grey 1995 Chevy Silverado with Colorado plate 064RPQ.

Johnson could be in Mississippi, according to the advisory.

The nine-pound infant was last seen wearing an orange onesie and yellow and blue hat.
