A Lakewood man with disability finds the word 'Lazy' spray-painted on his car

Posted

LAKEWOOD, Colo. -- It took just a matter of seconds to spray paint the word “lazy “on Benjamin Black’s car.

Black says he was targeted because of his handicap sticker inside the car. He said it happened while his niece, who was driving the car at the time, was parked in the unloading zone for a few minutes to unload luggage. The incident happened at Bear Valley Village apartments in Lakewood.

“I think that the person that did that is hateful. There is no empathy,” said Black.

There was also another car at the same apartment complex that was spray-painted with the same word but had no handicap stickers.

Black says he is offering a cash reward to anyone who can help him find who vandalized his family's car.
