About 80 train passengers had to be evacuated by firefighters after getting stuck on a bridge 50 feet above the ground.

It happened on the A Line, near East 78th Avenue and Gun Club Road, just north of Pena Boulevard, by the cell phone lot at Denver International Airport.

The passengers were stuck because a power outage stopped service on the A Line from Denver's Union Station to the airport Tuesday afternoon.

The passengers walked along the tracks and fire trucks were used to get them off the bridge. Busses were waiting to take them the rest of the way to the airport, RTD told Denver7.
