LAKEWOOD, Colo. -- At least seven tow trucks were needed to clear a large chain-reaction crash on 6th Avenue in Lakewood Wednesday morning.
Lakewood Police were called to the crash scene on 6th Avenue near Union Boulevard around 7:30 a.m. Traffic cameras in the area show at least five vehicles were involved. There is no word on injuries at this time.
The eastbound lanes at Union Boulevard were shut down while crews cleared the vehicles from the highway. It's not clear what caused the crash.
