65-year-old man found dead in Fort Collins home; victim's car missing

ORTS COLLINS, Colo. – Police in Fort Collins are conducting a homicide investigation after officers found the body of a 65-year-old man inside his home Tuesday.

A family member of William Grabusky contacted police to request a welfare check as she had not been able to reach him for several weeks. Officers found Grabusky dead in a home in the 3400 block of Riva Ridge Place shortly after the call to respond.

The cause and manner of death have yet to be released. However, police say due to several suspicious factors in the case, the death is being investigated as a homicide. Investigators have not elaborated as to what those factors are.

Police are also looking for the victim’s missing 2016 Hyundai Elantra with Colorado license plate QRM176.

Investigators are asking for public’s help in locating the Grabusky’s vehicle. If the vehicle is seen, please report to police immediately. As a safety precaution, do not attempt to make contact with the vehicle’s occupant(s).
