DENVER – Police have arrested seven people who were wanted in connection to a homicide in Denver in September.
Denver police said on Monday that William Webb, 25, Mikie Tarango, 20, Tyjonn Villa, 21 Savanna Leisegang, 18, Quenon Glaspy, 20, Kylan Snapp, 22, and an unnamed 17-year-old girl were taken into custody.
Police said all seven are connected to a fatal shooting at a home in the 2200 block of South Delaware Street. Officers responded to that home on Sept. 25 and found a resident, Dominique Cozy, 24, dead inside.
According to the Denver District Attorney's Office, the suspects were all involved in the planning or execution of an attempted robbery at the home and Cozy's death.
Webb, Tarango, Glaspy, Leisegang and Sapp are each charged with one count of first-degree murder and two counts of attempted aggravated robbery. Villa faces the same charges, as well as an additional count of first-degree murder.
The 17-year-old suspect was arrested in Houston, Texas and charged in Denver Juvenile Court with one count of accessory to murder.
