DENVER -- Good morning! Here's what you need to know today, Friday July 7.

1. Trump meets with Putin
President Donald Trump will meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The White House says there's "no specific agenda."

2. Home prices continue to climb in Denver
According to the latest data from the Denver Metro Association of Realtors, the average price of homes sold last month was $454,547, up 3.2 percent from the month before and 8.07 percent year-over-year. Inventory was up nearly 20 percent from the month before.

3. Peak 2 fire evacuations still in place
As of last check, the Peak 2 fire near Breckenridge was still 84 acres in size and 7 percent contained. Fire officials extended evacuation orders for the nearly 500 people who have been forced out of their homes.

4. Cooler temps arrive for the weekend
Temperatures will be in the upper 80s to low 90s for the plains on Friday, but should drop into the upper 80s on Saturday with more clouds and a better chance for thunderstorms.

5. Busy travel day expected at DIA
Denver International Airport says Friday will likely be its 2nd busiest day ever. The airport is expecting 196,000 people, just short of the record, which was set last Friday.
