1. Woman arrested after allegedly stabbing Rocky Ford officer
Troopers took Shyanne Maestas into custody Tuesday night after an all-day manhunt for the 21-year-old suspect. She’s accused of stabbing a Rocky Ford officer in the neck, and then stealing his patrol car. More details and possible charges are expected to be released Wednesday.
2. Search for missing plane continues
The Civil Air Patrol will continue their search for a missing single-engine Cessna 210 that took off from Erie Municipal Airport Monday morning. The pilot, the only person onboard, never showed up to their destination in Richfield, Utah.
3. Denver Auto Show kicks off
The Denver Auto Show starts Wednesday at the Colorado Convention Center. The event showcases the newest model year import and domestic vehicles as well as concept cars. It runs until Sunday.
4. Michael Blagg jury continue deliberations
Jurors are deciding the fate of a man being re-tried for killing his wife in western Colorado. They began deliberations Monday in Golden after five weeks of testimony in which prosecutors argued that Michael Blagg killed Jennifer Blagg as she slept and put her body in a dumpster at work in 2001.
5. Dry and pleasant Wednesday
Dry and pleasant weather with lighter winds will return for Wednesday. High temperatures will rebound into the 60s for lower elevations and upper 40s to mid-50s in the mountains.
