1. Visit any National Park for free Saturday

2. We've teamed up with the Red Cross for Florence relief

3. Cold case suspect arrested more than 30 years later

Police have arrested a man in connection to the murder and sexual assault of a Colorado Springs woman in 1988. James Edward Papol was arrested Thursday on first-degree murder charges. 

4. Denver Transit Partners sues RTD

A rocky relationship between Denver Transit Partners, which operates the University of Colorado A-Line between downtown and Union Station, and the Regional Transportation District has landed in court. Denver Transit Partners filed a lawsuit against the transit district in Denver District Court on Thursday.

5. Centennial elk released into natural habitat

The elk that was spotted resting in a driveway in a Centennial neighborhood was released Thursday evening into its natural habitat.
