2. RTD is threatening a contract termination over ongoing G-Line delays

RTD turned up the heat this week on its dispute with its partner overseeing the construction and operation of the metro area’s commuter rail system, warning Denver Transit Partners that its inability to open the G-Line to the western suburbs constitutes a “termination event."

3. Crew had to make emergency landing during flight to ISS

Around 3 a.m. Wednesday, NASA said a two-man crew headed to the International Space Station aboard a Russian Soyuz rocket had to make an emergency landing after a booster failure. 

4. Man faces 15 charges after fatal five-car crash in Lakewood

The 47-year-old man was charged with first-degree murder, three counts of attempted second-degree murder and more. His vehicle allegedly hit another stopped at a red light. The woman in the hit vehicle died of her injuries. 

5. Snow in the mountains and rain in the foothills

It's going to be a wet Thursday. But skies will clear overnight, leading to a beautiful and bright Friday with lows in the 60s across the metro area and 40s and 50s in the mountains. But the weekend could again bring some wet weather. Here's your full forecast
