DENVER – Good morning, everyone! Here’s what you need to know today on Friday, August 4.

1. New Sephora store opens at Denver Pavilions
The new downtown store opens at 10 a.m. Saturday, the store will host a "Love UR Selfie" event with a selfie station, makeup tutorials and free touchups.

2. Telluride Jazz Festival kicks off
This is the 41st year for the three-day event. The musician-packed lineup includes Mavis Staples and Macy Gray, among others. More:

3. Warmer today
The cool air will slip away to the east of Colorado Friday, with warmer conditions returning to Denver and the plains. Highs will bounce back into the 80s and there will be some scattered afternoon thunderstorms. More:

4. Durango town hall
Gov. John Hickenlooper, Sen. Cory Gardner, Sen. Michael Bennet, Rep. Scott Tipton and representatives from the Environmental Protection Agency will hold a town hall meeting after their tour of the Gold King Mine on Friday. The town hall will be at the La Plata County Administration Building from 2:15 to 3 p.m.
