1. George H.W. Bush eulogized by son, honored by family and friends

The hilltop cathedral in Washington filled up today with recollections of George H.W. Bush as a modest but mighty president, a man whose characteristic humility was belied one final time with all the pageantry of a state funeral. Read more here

2. Person detained after high school receives multiple threats of possible violence

The Weld RE-5J School District posted early on Facebook that Roosevelt High School had received threats involving a possible shooter and bomb threat. One person was detained in the late morning. We're working to learn more. 

3. Lawsuit filed against the Sharpest Rides

There is now legal action being taken against The Sharpest Rides dealership following months of investigation by Contact7 and more than a hundred complaints of selling mechanically defective vehicles.

4. Salvation Army bell ringer steals red kettle and the $400 inside

The Salvation Army in Fort Collins said a bell ringer stole a red kettle and $400 at the end of a shift outside a Colorado grocery store. The organization is currently working with the store and police to find the suspect. 

5. Have you seen this missing inmate?

An inmate who was being transferred to a new detention facility was accidentally dropped off at the wrong location and escaped Wednesday, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office. She has not been seen since. Have you seen her?
