DENVER — A 4-year-old child was rushed to the hospital Tuesday evening with critical injuries after the child darted in front of a passing vehicle.
Police say the child was in between two parked cars when the child ran out in front of the passing car traveling in the 3300 block of North Pontiac Street in Denver.
A Denver Police sergeant on scene says the child suffered critical head injuries.
The car involved stayed at the scene. Police say the driver was going the speed limit and did not appear to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
