4 injured in 3 overnight shootings in Denver, police say

DENVER – Four people were injured in three overnight shootings in Denver this weekend, police said.

The shootings happened Saturday night in the 500 block of South Utica Street, in southwest Denver; and Sunday morning in the 1300 block of Lipan Street, just south of downtown, and on 54th Avenue Drive and Granby Street in northeast Denver.

In the Utica Street shooting, a man had walked into an emergency room in unknown condition, police tweeted about 9:30 a.m. No suspect information was available.

In the Lipan Street shooting Sunday morning, a juvenile male also arrived at an emergency room in unknown condition, police tweeted about 1:30 a.m. Investigators had no suspect information available, police tweeted.

There were two victims, both men, in the 54th Avenue Drive shooting, police tweeted about 2 a.m. The men had walked into two different hospitals with gunshot wounds and no more details were available.

Earlier Saturday, around 4 a.m., a man was fatally shot outside of a bar in Denver's Berkeley neighborhood, police said. More details about the shooting haven't been released.
