DENVER — Four people were transported to a hospital after a crash involving a car and a RTD bus.
Denver police responded to the intersection of E. Alameda Avenue and S. Downing Street at 11:24 a.m. Thursday.
The driver of the car, driver of the bus and two passengers were taken to the hospital. The driver of the car had serious injuries, police said.
Based on preliminary evidence, police said the driver of the car may have run a red light and collided with the bus. No charges have been filed as of 12:20 p.m.
The eastbound and westbound lanes of E. Alameda Avenue, as well as northbound S. Downing Street, were closed as authorities worked at the scene but had reopened by 3:15 p.m.
