3 separate shootings in Denver leaves 2 dead, 1 wounded

DENVER -- Police in Denver are investigating three separate shootings Saturday night and Sunday morning that left two men dead and a third man wounded.

Denver police reported the first shooting on Twitter around 9 p.m. Saturday night. A man was shot and killed in the 1000 block of South Quivas Street. The incident is being investigated as a homicide, and no arrests have been made.

A couple hours later, Denver police reported a second shooting this time in the 200 block of South Julian Street. An adult male was shot and transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. No suspect information was released.

Around 4 a.m. Sunday, Denver police tweeted about a third shooting in the city. A man was shot and seriously wounded near East Colfax Avenue and North Wabash Street. No suspect was identified in this shooting.
