COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — Three people have died in a single-vehicle crash in unincorporated El Paso County.
The Colorado State Patrol says that the driver of a Honda Civic lost control of his vehicle on Falcon Highway east of Colorado Springs on Wednesday evening.
The car struck a utility pole. All four occupants were ejected.
Killed were the driver, 30-year-old Jay Dickson, of Peyton; 45-year-old William Huston, also of Peyton; and 37-year-old James Jones of Colorado Springs. A fourth man sustained minor injuries.
State Patrol spokesman Michael Tafoya said in a Thursday statement that those killed weren't wearing safety belts. The crash is under investigation.
