DENVER – Two people were rescued from the rubble of a collapsed wall at a home in Denver Monday morning.

Denver Fire said crews responded to a home in the 3100 block of West Denver Place around 9:30 a.m.

Crews pulled two trapped men from the rubble and a third was being evaluated at the scene. Firefighters said the men's injuries appeared to be significant, given the weight of the building material that fell on them.

Firefighters said the home was being remodeled and a building engineer was being called in to determine if the home is structurally sound enough for residents to remain.
