THORNTON, Colo. — Two people were killed in a two-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle in Thornton Wednesday.
The crash occurred on East 121st Avenue and Colorado Boulevard. Thornton Police got the call around 12:30 p.m.
According to a tweet from Thornton PD, the motorcyclist and the bike’s passenger — both males — died in the collision. No other significant injuries were reported.
UPDATE: Investigation has revealed MC operator was at fault. Unfortunately, both the operator and the passenger of the motorcycle have died, one on scene and the other at a local hospital. Both of the deceased individuals were adult males. pic.twitter.com/bVhCgA3Tka

Details surrounding the crash are not known. However, police say the motorcyclist was at fault.
The names of the deceased have not been released.
The crash prompted several road closures in the area.
