BOULDER COUNTY, Colo. – Two people are dead following a two-vehicle crash south of Longmont, the Colorado State Patrol said late Friday afternoon.
The deadly crash happened on Highway 287 and Lafayette Road just before 5 p.m., according to CSP Trooper Josh Lewis.
Highway 287 was closed for a stretch of about two-and-a-half miles between Isabelle Road and Lookout Road for about five hours.
Lewis was not able to give further details regarding the crash including a cause or if alcohol or drugs were a contributing factor.
