2 injured in hash oil explosion in Denver

DENVER — Two people were injured following a hash oil explosion in Denver Tuesday.

It happened around 3 p.m. at a home located in the 4800 block of Hooker Street. 

Denver Fire Department crews arrived on scene and found the butane hash oil extraction explosion caused a detached garage to partially collapse.

The two people apparently near the explosion were transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.

The incident is under investigation.
