AURORA, Colo. -- Two people were injured, including an Aurora Police officer, in a five-vehicle crash in Aurora Saturday afternoon.

Police say a driver of a BMW rear-ended a truck that was slowing down for a traffic light in the northbound lanes of South Parker Road near Arapahoe Road.

That collision caused a chain-reaction crash that involved three other cars, including an Aurora Police cruiser. The officer and driver of the BMW were transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

The driver of the BMW will be charged with following too closely.
