Two bears that wandered through the metro area this week were put down Friday.
One bear was spotted in Highlands Ranch Friday morning.
Alyssa Stevens snapped a photo of the bear in her backyard in the Westridge Village neighborhood.
The year-old bear had just been removed from a populated area last week. Since it returned, it had to be euthanized.
Also, the bear that led parks and wildlife officials on a day-long hunt through Denver, Lakewood and Littleton on Thursday was also euthanized for the same reason.
The bear climbed a tree near Layton and South Wadsworth Thursday afternoon.

The bear was still there Friday morning.
Colorado Parks and Wildlife officials this is why it's important to scare bears away if you see them - to prevent them from getting too comfortable around people.
At least 16 bears have been put down in Colorado so far this year.
