Aurora Police have arrested the 17-year-old brother of a 10-year-old boy who was shot and killed on Friday.
Jalecc Celanco Taylor was arrested for negligent child abuse resulting in death, which is a class 3 felony, the Aurora Police Department said in a statement released Tuesday.
Taylor is being held on $10,000 bond at the LINK Juvenile Assessment Center in Adams County, according to the statement.
The shooting took place on Galena Street, near East 16th Avenue, on June 3, the Aurora Police Department stated on Twitter Friday night.

Neighbors called police at around 9:45 p.m. after hearing a "commotion" in the Nordic Arms Apartments.
When firefighters and police got to the scene, they discovered the boy had died in a ground-level apartment, according to Aurora Police Chief Nicholas Metz.
