DENVER – Good morning! Here’s what you need to know today, Tuesday, Oct. 31.

1. Happy Halloween!

2. Council approves mall smoking ban
The Denver City Council on Monday unanimously approved a smoking ban for the 16th Street Mall. The ban includes e-cigarettes and goes into effect on Dec. 1.

3. 'House of Cards' canceled
The sixth season of 'House of Cards' will be the show's last following actor Anthony Rapp's accusation that star Kevin Spacey made a sexual advance on him in the '80s, when Rapp was 14 years old. Spacey said on Monday he doesn't remember the encounter.

4. Astros hope to take it all
Tonight is Game 6 of the World Series in Los Angeles. The Houston Astros are leading the series at 3-2.

5. Cold now but not too bad later
We're off to a chilly start this morning with temperatures in the low 30s and wind chills in the 20s and teens across the Front Range. We'll be warming into the 50s by this afternoon, however.
