DENVER — Firefighters in Denver responding to a report of a man passed out in his car this weekend encountered a scene that will fuel the nightmares of many.
The Denver Fire Department tweeted out photos Sunday showing a 15-foot snake trying to escape from a car where its owner was passed out from alcohol consumption.
"Engine #29 found a party passed out in his car, while his 15ft. snake was crawling out of the driver's side window on to the roof!" the tweet read.
More animal adventures this weekend for the DFD, this time the reptile type. Engine #29 found a party passed out in his car, while his 15ft. snake was crawling out of the driver's side window on to the roof! Don't drink & drive, especially with your pet snake in the car! #BeSmart pic.twitter.com/zxrHVZL65g

The tweet did not include information as to what happened to the snake or if police issued a citation or made an arrest, though they reminded people not to drink and drive — especially with a pet snake.
