BOULDER COUNTY, Colo. – A 10-year-old boy was killed in a utility vehicle accident in Boulder County on Thursday afternoon, officials said.
Deputies responded about 4:45 p.m. to the 3000 block of North 63rd Street, in an unincorporated area of the county, according to the sheriff's office. The utility vehicle had tipped over in a farm field, and the victim died at the scene.
Four other children were riding in the utility vehicle when the crash happened, and one of the children was driving, the sheriff's office said. None were injured.
The Colorado State Patrol was working with the sheriff's office to investigate the crash. The name of the child who died has not been released.
