DENVER — One person was killed in a four-vehicle crash early Thursday on Interstate 70 in Denver, and traffic was delayed along the busy highway into the morning commute.
All eastbound lanes of I-70 were reopened by 8:45 a.m., according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.
At about 7 a.m., only one lane of eastbound I-70 remained open at Interstate 225, where police were still investigating the crash.
The crash happened about 4:15 a.m., police said. One person was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead.
Before the crash early Thursday, a motorcyclist died in a crash late Wednesday night in the same area of I-70, near the Peoria exit, police said.
