DENVER — Police are investigating a shooting near Highland Park on the evening of Sept. 4 that left one person dead.
Around 10:20 p.m., officers with the Denver Police Department responded to the 3200 block of Federal Boulevard after receiving a report of a shooting in the area. This is across the street from Highland Park, at the intersection of Federal and W. 32nd Avenue.
When police arrived, they found two people who had gunshot wounds.
Shortly after 11 p.m., police said one of the people had died. He was later identified on Sept. 12 at Ngor Monday, 19. Police said they don't have an update on the second injured person or any information on suspects.
