A woman was stabbed multiple times near a Wheat Ridge truck stop early Thursday morning and police are now asking for your help to identify three people in connection to the crime.

The woman, who police say was stabbed in the face and neck outside the Howard Johnson hotel in the area of West 44th Avenue and Tabor Street, came out of one of the rooms of a Travel America truck stop at around 6:59 a.m. and was immediately taken to St. Anthony's Hospital in Lakewood, according to Wheat Ridge Police Commander Wade Hammond.

Hammond said that around the same time, a man wearing dark clothing was seen leaving the area. Investigators do not yet know if the man and the woman are related in any way.

About 20 minutes later, a resident in the area reported that his black, 2007 Nissan Frontier pickup, with Colorado license plate 814-PVD, had been stolen. The pick has multiple stickers in the windows and scrap metal in the bed of the truck. Hammond was not immediately able to confirm with Denver7 if the stabbing and the vehicle theft are related.

Police, however, have released several photos of people they want to speak to:
